Clear terms, plain English.
These terms apply to every booking and every quote with Attara Pty Ltd trading as Denarii Studio. Last updated 16 October 2026. See also our privacy policy.
Who we are and what these terms cover
Attara Pty Ltd trading as Denarii Studio (ABN 74 685 002 902) ("we", "us") is a photography studio in Brisbane, Queensland. We photograph and film residential property for agents and property managers, and commercial property — offices, campuses, facades, development sites and fit-outs — for agencies, owners, developers and builders.
These terms apply to every booking made through our website, agent portal, email or phone, and to every commercial quote we accept. By booking, accepting a quote or approving a gallery you agree to them. The person who books is responsible for the booking, including where they book on behalf of an agency, a vendor or another party.
Residential bookings
A booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. Prices are as shown at the time of booking, inclusive of GST, and include travel within the zone shown for the address. Addresses outside our service zones are quoted separately.
Package photo counts are the number of finished images delivered. Additional images, add-ons and weekend shoots are priced as shown on the booking form, which is the only place a price is a quote: it is attached to an address and a date. We may decline or reschedule a booking where it cannot be completed safely or lawfully.
Commercial work
Commercial work is quoted in writing from your brief: line items, where the images may be used and for how long, turnaround, and a date the quote is valid until. Nothing is committed until you accept the quote, and the quote's terms apply alongside these.
You are responsible for site access, inductions and any permits the site requires; we carry a certificate of currency and will complete inductions on request. Where a quote states usage terms, those terms are the licence for that work and the Copyright and licence section below applies to anything the quote does not cover.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy
Free changes. You can move or cancel a booking at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start, from your agent portal or by contacting us.
Late cancellation. A cancellation inside 24 hours of the start, or a booking we cannot complete because the property is not accessible or ready at the agreed time (no keys, no access, tenants declining entry, the vendor not present when required), is charged a flat late-cancellation fee of $50 (or the booking value, if lower). The fee is invoiced for that booking on the day it is cancelled and is payable on the same 14-day terms as any other invoice. It does not depend on any future booking.
Rescheduling. Moving a booking is free at any time, including inside the 24-hour window; we would always rather move a shoot than cancel it. The one exception: if a booking is moved inside the window and the rescheduled booking is later cancelled, the $50 late-cancellation fee that applied at the time of the move is charged, however much notice is given. Rescheduling cannot be used to avoid the fee.
Weather. If we decide conditions will not produce the exterior, drone or twilight images you booked, we reschedule the whole shoot or, at your option, shoot interiors and return for exteriors at no extra charge. Weather rescheduling initiated by us is never charged.
Rescheduling by us. If we cannot attend a confirmed booking for reasons within our control, our missed-shoot rule applies: that shoot is free. See Our promise below.
On the day
You are responsible for access to the property at the booked time and for the property being presented for photography. Our pre-shoot checklist sets out what to prepare. We photograph the property as we find it; we may tidy small items but do not move furniture, clean or style rooms.
Package times are approximate. We may leave once the booked scope is captured, and may not be able to extend a shoot if the property is not ready on arrival.
Drone photography and video are flown by an operator holding a current CASA RPA operator accreditation, under CASA rules. Airspace restrictions, weather, obstacles or nearby people may prevent or limit a flight on the day. If a drone add-on cannot be delivered we refund or credit that add-on.
A twilight shoot has one slot an evening, timed to the light. Virtual twilight, where ordered, is a daytime exterior converted in editing and is described as such in your gallery.
How your images are made
We shoot every job ourselves. Finishing — exposure blending, colour, straightening and the removal of small distractions — is done to our brief by us and by a specialist editing partner, and every image then receives our house finish and is checked by one of us before it reaches you. Nothing is delivered that we have not looked at.
We do not add or remove anything that would change what a buyer or tenant finds at the property. Skies are not replaced, fires and screens are not switched on, and objects are not removed beyond small, temporary distractions, unless you have ordered a virtual twilight or asked for a specific edit, in which case it is done as asked and is yours to disclose. Where an edit you ask for would be misleading, we will say so and may decline it.
Delivery, proofs and approval
We aim to deliver within 48 hours of the shoot. Your gallery is first delivered as proofs, watermarked and not downloadable. Review them, then either request changes or approve.
Approving the gallery confirms you are satisfied with the work, unlocks the downloads and triggers invoicing. Each photograph is delivered in three forms: a web file sized for portals and email, a hi-res file, and a print file at full resolution, sharpened for paper, in sRGB at 300 dpi. If you supplied an agency logo it is applied to all three. One round of minor changes (swaps, small retouching, colour tweaks) is free within 7 days of delivery. Re-shoots, additional images or changes beyond that scope are quoted.
Approval, downloading or publishing any image is treated as acceptance of the delivered work.
Our promise
If you are not happy with a delivered gallery, tell us before approving it. We will fix what we can, and if we cannot make it right, you do not pay for that shoot. This promise applies to the quality of our work; it does not cover matters outside our control such as property presentation, weather or access.
If we miss a confirmed booking, arrive more than 30 minutes late without warning, or cannot complete a shoot for reasons within our control, that shoot is free and we re-book at your first choice of time.
Invoices and payment
Approving a gallery issues its invoice the same day. Invoices go to the booking agent and, where applicable, their agency, who are jointly responsible for payment. Late-cancellation fees are invoiced on the day of cancellation. Commercial work is invoiced as the quote states.
Invoices are due 14 days from the invoice date, by bank transfer or PayID using the details on the invoice, or by card where a card option is shown. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
If an invoice is overdue we may pause new bookings and withhold further deliveries until it is paid, and may recover reasonable costs of collection.
Referral codes and rewards
An agent who has booked with us receives a referral code. A new agent who enters it when booking their first shoot gets $50 off that shoot, and the referring agent receives a $50 credit once that first shoot is delivered, applied to their next booking. A code applies to an agent's first booking only, cannot be used on your own bookings, and is not redeemable for cash. We also issue codes through sales representatives; they give the same first-shoot discount.
Every 10th shoot is 50% off the package price, applied automatically at booking and shown on your quote and invoice. Your count is the number of shoots we have delivered for you; it carries over, so the 10th, the 20th and the 30th each get it. Where more than one discount could apply to a booking, the best single discount applies and earned credits stack on top.
We may change or withdraw these rewards for future bookings at any time. A reward already earned is honoured.
Copyright and licence to use images
We own the copyright in all photographs, video, floor plans and other media we create. On payment, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered media — the web, hi-res and print files — to market and sell or lease the specific property photographed, in print, online and on social media, and to promote your agency and yourself in connection with that listing. For commercial work the quote states the usage, and that statement is the licence.
The licence does not include transferring the media to another agency for the same property, use for a different property, resale, or use by third parties (including builders, developers, stylists or the property owner) without our written consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold and may charge for. We may use the media in our own portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to for a particular property.
Where you supply a logo or watermark, you confirm you have the right to use it and grant us permission to apply it to your deliverables.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or commissions.
We take reasonable care on site but are not responsible for the condition of the property, and you are responsible for the safety of the premises and anyone present during the shoot.
Floor plans
Floor plans are indicative only. Dimensions and areas are approximate, are produced from a scan of the property taken on the day rather than from a survey, and must not be relied upon for valuation, construction, or a decision to buy or lease. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you or to any third party for loss arising from reliance on a floor plan.
Your account
Agents sign in with a link sent to their email address, or a passkey they set up; there is no password. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can open your galleries. Tell us at once if you think your account has been used by someone else, and we will sign every device out.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, every agent is emailed a notice with the effective date, and the version in force when you make a booking applies to that booking. Questions: contact@denariistudio.com.au or 07 3522 3303.
